We hope that everyone had a fun-filled summer and that you are excited to begin another fabulous year at Parkway. Grade six is a special year as it represents a chance for each of you to discover your leadership potential as you fill various roles in the school. Morning announcers, bus patrollers, kindergarten classroom helpers…. on the playground, in the hallways, and in the community the children of Parkway will be looking up to you!
We will be learning lots of new things and having tons of fun along the way.
A Few Reminders:
All students need to wear suitable outdoor footwear to school depending on the weather and need to bring a pair of indoor running shoes to leave at school.
Please bring gym clothes to school each Monday. The gym clothes will be worn in gym class throughout the week and brought home to be washed on Fridays.
We will be using binders with dividers to organize paperwork for various subjects this year. If you have a binder at home, please bring it in. If not, we’ve got you covered.
Our Grade Six Trip Week is just a few weeks away! Students need to make sure all forms and monies are returned to your teacher on time, including the $8.25 to cover the cost of art materials to complete the scrap-booking assignment.
